The Sedleian Professorship of Natural Philosophy (Applied Mathematics) is one of the most senior positions in Oxford’s Mathematical Institute and is a cornerstone of Oxford's commitment to research in applied mathematics.
We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant position in Geometry. The successful candidate will be a member of the Geometry research group, and will work under the supervision of one or more of Professor Dominic Joyce, Professor Frances Kirwan, Professor Andrew Dancer, Professor Balázs Szendrői or Professor Alexander Ritter at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford. This is a 1 year fixed term position, from 1 September 2018 until 31 August 2019.
We invite applications for a two-year postdoctoral research assistant position, funded by EPSRC, to work with Professor Sarah Waters at The University of Oxford on an exciting multidisciplinary project in the mathematical modelling of tissue engineered constructs. The post holder will be based in the group of Professor Sarah Waters, part of the Oxford Centre for Industrial and Applied Mathematics in the Mathematical Institute.
The Mathematical Institute proposes to appoint a Departmental Lecturer in Mathematical Finance. This is a two year fixed-term position, starting from 1st October 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter.
