Applications are invited for the Professorship of Mathematical Finance to be held in the Mathematical Institute with effect from 1 January 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter. A non-stipendiary Fellowship at St Hugh’s College is attached to this Professorship.

Applications are invited for a 3.5 year D Phil (PhD) Studentship in Post-Quantum Cryptography, funded by the UK Government.

The D.Phil. studentship will start on 1 October 2017, and will be based at the Mathematical Institute. The studentship is fully funded, and includes standard stipends of approximately £14,296, and College and University fees at the Home rate. The studentship is attached to St Hughs College ( http://www.st-hughs.ox.ac.uk/ ).

The Mathematical Institute proposes to appoint an Associate Professor, or Professor, of the Mathematics of Data Science from 1 September 2017 or as soon as possible thereafter.  The successful candidate will be offered a Non-Tutorial Fellowship at Pembroke College under arrangements described in the job description.  The combined University and College salary scale has a minimum point of £45,562 per annum.  An allowance of £2,626 p.a. would be payable upon award of Full Professor title.

The Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford, proposes to appoint a Departmental Lecturer in Mathematical Modelling to support the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Industrially Focused Mathematical Modelling. The appointment will be for a fixed period of 2 years and is available from 1 September 2017, or as soon as possible thereafter.
